Earlier this year, Jayvee reviewed the debut album from funk soul group OTiS, giving it high marks and resounding praise. OTiS debuts their new album 'Music Elevator' on Friday, November 18 at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2. The first video from that album, for the track “Automatic People,” was just released and pays homage to The Beatles’ extensive cardiovascular training. Read more...

Up next for TRTs bold predictions for makin it in 2010 is Brooklyns own OTiS. I first caught wind of OTiS a few weeks back thanks to one of our most reliable tipsters, Jake, who sent me the bands cover of Pharcydes Passing Me By.
Did I fail to mention, OTiS is not a rap group, by any means, but lead singer Craig Schoenbaum sure had me fooled, which points to the bands versatility. Read more...
